COLLAGE CREATIVITY CLASS

I host collage creativity classes with Drawing America, and I am also open to hosting classes with you!

This class is meant to be a “creativity jumpstart” through collage.

Everyone is welcome. No art experience necessary. No pressure, no judgement, just a communal creative space meant to shake up some debris in your brain, get you to think differently, and learn about collage.

In each class, I give you some background on collage and an assignment to work on during class time. We listen to music, chat, have drinks and snacks, and work on our pieces. At the end of class, we regroup to look at everyone’s work and discuss.

There will be some materials, but I encourage you to bring whatever materials you want to work with, as well as scissors and glue and whatever you want to link stuff together. Get wild with your materials.

I recommend keeping an eye out for old magazines, newspapers, catalogs, flyers, tickets, receipts, trash, etc. Anything can be collage material if you want it to be.
